Cause Found in Five-Alarm Fire

Investigators from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives have determined that the cause of a five alarm fire that broke out at a Gilbert apartment complex was the result of an accident.

Federal officials say that it was a torch that had been used by workers at the complex that is still under construction was the only known heat source at the scene of the fire.

Officials indicate that more than 100 firefighters responded to the fire at the complex on Saturday. The heat from the fire was intense enough to have damaged nearby streets and neighborhoods before it was brought under control.

The aftermath of a house or apartment fire can be devastating. It’s fortunate that there were no residents in the complex when the destructive fire broke out. However, those in the vicinity may still need to find another place to live while their homes are repaired.

Insurance companies are quick to want to settle claims as quickly as possible. It’s extremely important to have an attorney looking out after your best interests before you sign any statement or accept any form of settlement.
