Car Crash Damages Condominium Complex

condoPolice have arrested three men in connection to a car crash that ended with damage to a Phoenix condominium complex.

Authorities say that the men had been heading down 36th Street when the driver turned into the Saratoga Condominiums located near McDowell Road. During the incident, the vehicle struck two columns and damaged a balcony at the complex.

Eyewitnesses say that the men got out of their vehicle exhibiting strange behavior and were overheard saying that one of the men had a gun. As a result of the claims of a weapon in the possession of the men, residents called police. The three men were located and arrested, however, officers did not find any weapon at the scene.

Police have indicated that charges including DUI are pending following the incident.

Thankfully, in this incident, no one was hurt. No one expects their home or their property to be damaged in an accident involving a drunk driver. When drivers choose to drive while they are intoxicated or when they are under the influence of prescription or illicit drugs, the results can be potentially even more deadly than on any other kind of street. A home is the most valuable asset that many of us have and it’s important to feel safe and secure at home.
