A woman has been injured after a red light crash that happened in South Phoenix very early Wednesday morning.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, the crash occurred at Central and Baseline Roads just after midnight when a driver was traveling westbound on Baseline and they ran a red light at Central Avenue.

A woman who was traveling southbound on Central was struck and then crashed her vehicle into another vehicle.

The woman, whose identity has not yet been released by authorities, was taken to an area hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made. The accident is still currently under investigation.
